Today i would be talking to you about prime numbers. We are conversant with numbers of all forms Like the real numbers,natural numbers,integers etc.
A prime number is that number which no other number can divide except 1 and itself.
You can also put it this way.Prime number is a number that can be divided exactly only by itself and one (1).You would come across a lot of prime numbers when using tables to find the lowest common multiples (l.c.m) of some given numbers.
A prime number has only two factors; itself and 1.
These are prime numbers:2,3,5,7,11,13,17,23,29,31,37,41, etc.
Take note that one (1) is not a prime number because it has only one factor which is itself.
