💊 Meaning of Drugs

A drug is anything we take into the body to cure sickness, prevent sickness, or control pain.
Examples: tablets, herbs, capsules, syrups.

Drugs must always be used correctly and only with an adult’s help.


🌱 Types of Drugs

There are two main types of drugs:


1️⃣ Naturally Occurring Drugs (Natural Drugs)

These are drugs that come from nature—plants and animals.
They are not made in factories.

Examples:

  • Ginger

  • Aloe vera

  • Bitter leaf juice

  • Garlic syrup


2️⃣ Synthetic Drugs (Man-made Drugs)

These are drugs made in laboratories or factories using chemicals.

  • Cough syrup

Using drugs wrongly is very harmful. It can cause:
